To the Sandia Mountains. (Sandia is watermelon in Spanish, hence the mural above. However, as the docent at the Coronado State Monument said, the mountains' name probably refers to "holy day," or "san dia.")

There's been a lot of blood shed in New Mexico, and the symbols of each of the peoples who clashed are here, as are the peoples.
