Tbilisi: Caucasus Business and Development Network

Tbilisi, Georgia

Sandy and I met up with Eberle in Tbilisi on Sunday. We found Eberle talking to another colleague, Hannah, who had noticed a free (free!) wine-cheese-honey-tea tasting event right next door to our rendezvous spot.

 Free? But of course.

The event was hosted by the Caucasus Business and Development Network. CBDN "promotes peacebuilding through regional economic cooperation and dialogue between all business communities across the South Caucasus."

Members include product producers in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, and South Osettia (a battleground between Georgia and Russia).

I tasted a delicious honey-imbued brandy, a fabulous Armenian honey, and Armenian cheese. Really, all of the products were luscious.

That is a *great* return on your investment!

Tell me about the 'city game.' Sounds interesting.

there were a study visit in Tbilisi, so we had a city game and must did some tasks, for example, to do any volunteering work, to ask the passengers about volunteering and about the problems and conflict in Georgia, and , at last, they gave us a candy and we had to change it to something bigger :)))
it was very funny, so our volunteering work was to help the participants of this fest...I'm from Armenia, and I found armenian participants there:D
it was nice :)))
