Light.

In these dark times, I need light. Maybe you do, too.

For the joy, the promise, the inspiration that light brings, I revisit the song, This Little Light of Mine

My favorite is this by the Soweto Choir:

New to me this year is from Sister Rosetta Tharpe, in a 1960 performance:

May I find light in each day.

First time seeing your blog. I have been in the Fairhope area about 12 years now. I moved to be near my twin granddaughters who are now 16. It is a beautiful place to live but yes expensive and lots of wealthy white people. Progressive but very little diversity. I love being 40 miles from the beach. However, I am also a roamer. I've never felt like I wanted to settle somewhere forever. Too much to see and do! I'm almost 76, live on a tidal creek. It's lovely but a big hurricane would wipe us out. So who knows?? My last 2 trips have been to Mexico and Portugal. I've lived all over and have friends from all over. I love it!
