Today I sent in my passport renewal application.
Today is the first day of my last month in South Louisiana.
It is a good day to remember what Temperance "Bones" Brennan once said about what her future held:
"I await my own surprise."

Hi Julie - Well, for a month, you and I are almost neighbors! I'm in Guatemala at the moment. I've got a new one-year home in mind for this fall but before then, I'm going to wander around for a bit. Uh wait, looks like you're in New Mexico right now? So we're used-to-be almost neighbors. ;-)
