Long, long ago, I was at a zoo, spending the most time, as usual, in front of the chimps and baboons.
Or maybe I read this in a book.
Whatever. I learned that good zookeepers provide entertaining and challenging objects to animals to keep them engaged, to break the monotony of living captive in a small space.
So when I saw the Google dance tribute to Martha Graham recently, and the coolest-thing-ever guitar tribute to Les Paul, I thought .... zoo toys! Yay!
And I must have missed the homage to John Lennon earlier this year:
